Only 2 hours on the new express way from Bangkok's international airport is the paradise beach Mae Phim. Here you will find a beautiful seafront promenade that stretch around Mae Phim Beach, fine sandy beach with crystal-clear water and the genuine Thailand. Outside the coast is the famous tourist isle Koh Samet situated and it's only a half hour ride to shopping centers in Rayong and Klaeng.

The still unexplored paradise Mae Phim has for a long time been known amongst Thais themselves. The crown prince of Thailand has one of his big houses here, and there are several hotels like Novotel, many restaurants and the beach is a popular place for Thais themselves in week ends.

Mae Phim is sometimes named Laem Mae Phim , Laem stands for "cape'. In Thai we find the word Koh "isle" (those Koh Samet, Koh Chang), Mae Phim is a pearl that up to now is proportionately unexplored spite only 18 mil from Bangkok.

Here you can really relax and drop all your stress behind you. The beach is long fine-grained and the water tempting blue and warm. But if you don't want to be lazy in the sun all the time there is plenty of other things to do. Why not try snorkeling or even learn to dive.
